Brandon Keen, 36, was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants at a West Knoxville hotel on Thursday night.

On April 9, 2026, Community Engagement Response Team officers received information that Keen, who had outstanding warrants for domestic assault, public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of probation, was staying at a hotel on Cross Park Drive.

Officers responded to the location and confirmed that Keen was a guest at the hotel. Shortly after officers arrived, Keen exited his hotel room and was taken into custody without incident.

Officers then spoke with the woman who was staying with Keen at the hotel. She had visible injuries and reported that Keen had assaulted her at least twice since Friday, April 3.

During a subsequent search of the hotel room, officers recovered approximately 16 grams of crystal methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

In addition to his outstanding warrants, Keen was charged with aggravated assault, Schedule II drug violations, simple possession and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
